Get this question now and again and the culprit is usually the Redirection plugin. Not even the “redirects” in the plugin but the Modified Posts. Hmm, odd. Here’s a fix.

Fantastic video! I was going round in circles myself trying to solve this issue! It happened when I added a parent category to a page and on updating the page URL changed. Then I changed it back to the original but it continues to redirect to the changed URL. Can’t thank you enough
