Editing an Event in The All-in-One Event Calendar

We’ve been on the hunt for a favorite event manager. All-in-One Event Calendar looks pretty great so far.

If you’re looking for a (free) WordPress event manager plugin, you might not need to look any further than the All-in-One Event Calendar by Timely. I haven’t given it a thorough review yet, but just wanted to get this in here to show how to edit an existing event and show how the title shows up in the sidebar. Point learned: the title of the event will be followed by the location (logically!) but if you called the event “Barnes & Noble Reading” and then say that the location title is Barnes & Noble, the title in the sidebar will read, “Barnes & Noble Reading @ Barnes & Noble.” Easy to fix!

Timely’s All-in-One Event Calendar software helps companies, communities, and groups organize, promote, and share their events.

All-in-one has been good to work with. There is another one call Ajax Event Calendar that is not as robust as aioc but i found it much easier to perform basic task of posting events and much easier for the user to consume data w/ an ajax loaded window of event.

Thanks for the mention of Ajax Event Calendar, Tim. The All-in-One is also a bit overkill for just a list of upcoming events. One complaint a client had was that it didn’t show the location (or much info at all) in the sidebar: just date and name. You have to hover or click for more info. Would have been nice if that were configurable.
