You know what categories are, but did you know how you can further organize them?

You know how to add a category to you post, but when you start to accumulate lots of categories and then start sub-categorizing and whatnot, you need to at least understand the basis of parents and children. Well, the parents and children for categories anyway, if you understand parents and children beyond WordPress, that’s another story that’s even more useful.
